IMHO no area brewer produces better lagers. While I hadn't visited their facility for the first 10+ years, I'll be able to say that I was there for the last day of the old resturant and the first day of the new.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315262155858800734.post-46459172787162972192008-05-06T22:33:00.000-04:002008-05-06T22:33:00.000-04:0011:30am can't come quickly enough!11:30am can't come quickly enough!Steve D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09372889075566539606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315262155858800734.post-48314465813695472942008-05-06T20:06:00.000-04:002008-05-06T20:06:00.000-04:00Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention the counter-pressure...Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention the counter-pressure growler filler. Truly, a new age in growler filling (to be fair; Sweetwater's been doing this for years, but I'm very happy to see Victory do it).Lew Brysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04084380741402026573noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315262155858800734.post-76023900360709364372008-05-06T20:02:00.000-04:002008-05-06T20:02:00.000-04:00Lew, the cask-conditioned version of Uncle Teddy's...Lew, the cask-conditioned version of Uncle Teddy's Bitter is about as "session proof" as you can get. It was mighty fine last nite at the soft opening I attended.

Oh, Lew and everyone else planning to go, make sure you bring a growler since there are 20 different Victory beers on tap and most are draft only brews. There some new Victory brews, an old favorite or two making a return appearance and a slightly wild and wacky version of Hop Devil. Also, your growler will be filled with the new automated growler system. They should charge admission just to watch this device in action.

Look forward to seeing you again tomorrow and all others planning to attend the reopening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7315262155858800734.post-23381702637587039722008-05-06T19:28:00.000-04:002008-05-06T19:28:00.000-04:00Oh, I've no idea which particular two session beer...Oh, I've no idea which particular two session beers will be on...but Wallop ain't no session. I hope you are correct and it is the porter and I second the hopes for Milltown.

Cheers.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01869272092929533405noreply@blogger.com
