New Poll on the PLCB blog

"What factor is most likely to block any meaningful reform of Pennsylvania's Liquor Code?" is the new poll at "Why the PLCB should be abolished." Go take a look, and realize that every answer (except the obviously fun last one, and I hope you all catch the reference to one of my fave cult movies) is, unfortunately, a right answer. This is going to be an uphill fight.

Hey, if you voted early...something went haywire with the poll. I re-posted it, and the first two hours' votes were lost: come back, vote again!

If all the members of the PLCB are named John, you may have stumbled across something.

"Where are we going?"
"Planet 10!"
"When are we going"
"Real soon!"

"Haven't you heard? Don't you watch-a TV?"

"If all the members of the PLCB are named John..." Nice. Hey, maybe that's the solution, we get all of them jobs at Yoyodyne!

Sorry, you lost me on the weird film reference. Anyhow, I think the business interests have the most to lose...they'll fight it tooth and nail to keep their case stores open and highly controlled...less competition, easier business.

I just watched Robocop last night with my wife. It was her first time.

As soon as Peter Weller appeared on screen, I said, "Hey. That's Buckaroo Bonzai!"

She said, "Oh yeah. It is! Cool."

Gotta love a girl who'll sit through either of those movies with you, and like it.

You make a lot of assumptions here, "BEER MAN." I'll make one about you: you've got a bug up your ass about me writing for Origlio's newsletter...which has nothing to do with this thread. If you can't keep it on-topic...you're out of the pool. Your choice.

Matt,

Sorry about the deletion. I agreed...but I remembered my standards: we don't need to smack each other.
