FirstStater: Okay, no, I won't post that. I've made it clear in the past that I won't post comments like that, and not just about Victory. That's why I went to moderating comments; that's why I didn't post your last comment. Yelp's out there, and they always post stuff like that: I'm not Yelp.
Wow. Greg Koch's take on the Prima is so far from my own, makes me wonder. I think that Prima is so spot on for a Pils -- not crazy hoppy, not big ABV -- just smooth and flavorful.
Is the PP we're getting in the Midwest not the same as out east -- maybe it mellows on the truck trip? (yes, that's tongue in cheek)
Or maybe I've just never been "afraid" of Pilsner.
Lew, I've had Stoudt's in the past, but very long ago so I can't compare.
OTOH, I look for Pilsners often and we get a few micro-brewed labels here in the Midwest (Capital, Lake Front, August Schell)-- I still like Victory's better than most.
I guess when I think Pils, I think hops -- not like a Pale Ale, maybe, but if it doesn't have a little hop character, it's "just" Helles.

Greg Koch and Sam Calagione don't get enough camera time on their own?

Really? Have you had Stoudt's Pils? Much much softer, less assertively hopped...but still very much a pilsner.
