More Housekeeping...Captcha probably returning
I gave it a shot, folks, but I'm getting comment spam on an hourly basis. I suppose I could just dump it all once a day, but it's clogging up my inbox. I'm probably going to put the Captcha back on, and complain to Google. This will result in my being ignored, and it will piss you off. Perhaps YOU could complain to Google about their Captcha?

Switch to Wordpress. No Captcha, and a 99.8 per cent effective anti-spam program in Akismet.
Too old to learn it (at least, judging from Uncle Jack's experience, that's a good excuse). But seriously, it does puzzle me that Google's anti-spam program in their MAIL system works so well, and the anti-spam program for Blogger doesn't much work at all.
You'd have to give us where to complain re: Google. Their weakest point is how to send feedback. They have a q-and-a forum, but no "I want to say something and receive an answer" mechanism as far as I've found.
Google bought Wordpress. That could easily explain why the anti-spam software they use in gmail isn't integrated. Probably not as high priority for them as some of their other projects.
