Just saw a poll in the Lehigh Valley Express-Times:
Should Pennsylvania sell the state liquor control system to balance the budget?
Can I get a big Hell Yeah!
Go register your opinion right now!
Can't find the results today...but late last night "Sell it!" was running over 80%. Like to see a real statewide poll done by an impartial agent.

Should they sell it, or abolish it and put alcohol taxes to the general fund?
(I'm a Californian and I don't have a clue how your state deals with booze.)
I'm much more in favor of abolishing it. The last thing I want is a privately-owned monopoly taking over from a government monopoly. I'd like to abolish it AND sell the stock and the licenses (and create more: PA has nowhere near enough liquor stores).
