A new beer blog,
On Tap, started yesterday out of Wilkes-Barre, done by two Citizens Voice staffers, Coulter Jones and James Reeser. They're enthusiasts, and they've got two good lists of top five beers, so we'll see what happens. I'm just glad to see a voice for beer out of NorthEast PA. First thing I noticed on the site was a link to MADD, a group dedicated to bringin back prohibition.
Hmm...
The FIRST thing you noticed?
It's a site backed by a newspaper; the MADD and AA sites are a tip of the hat to "responsible drinking."
MADD does not support "responsible drinking". MADD's goal is to remove the option the drink alcoholic beverages, period.

If you're looking for an argument, you'll get none from me: that's why I used the quotes. If we're going to get snarly, I am not convinced that AA is significantly more effective than some other methods of controlling alcoholism; some apparently work better than AA.
But we're not going to holler about it here; if you want to make an issue of it, go to THEIR blog and do it. Wouldn't that make more sense?
