In another example of "nano-contract-brewing" (like Prism Brewing -- brewing at the General Lafayette (and a very cool website) -- and Royersford Brewing -- brewing at Sly Fox), Lavery Brewing just got final approval in Erie. They're brewing on weekends at BrewErie. More details here, here, and here.
There's also another new brewpub coming in central PA. Details shortly...but I'll tell you now, it's got great potential. [cat's out of the bag; check the comments for details!]

I can't wait for that one, is it more the middle part, upper part or lower part of PA?
"Central." That's the key word.
Real central Pa or Harrisburg "central" Pa
Harrisburg is "south central", isn't it?
Could this be Gamble Mill? It was reported in the CDT a while back that they were looking for a brewer.
DING DING DING DING DING!
Yeah, it's Gamble Mill in Bellefonte. They've got a 7 bbl. system they're putting in for on-site beers, and are in the process of hiring a brewer. Great site for a brewpub, and good beer returns to Bellefonte: a good thing.
(Thanks to my man Sam K. for first tips on this!)
BTW, I've always preferred the term "dead center" for our part of the state!
My wife and I ate at their Mount Hill Tavern here in the Harrisburg area; great food and a very good beer selection. They should do well.
sweeeeet !
@Sam - I've always preferred 'geographic center' OR....'directly above the center of the earth'
