Great to see Stillwater Stateside along with all the other great taps.
Matt is doing for Montgomery County what Scoats did for Northeast Philly... You should have seen his list of 16 different Saisons that he had on tap at once..
Baltimore is crazier, folks--see the post above this one.
Regarding Baltimore, personally I can't process that many choices. There's a finite amount of beer anyone can drink in one sitting. I'd rather have a reasonably sized rotating list of numerous good choices. Sometimes too much is just too much.
Scoats, I agree. When I see 20+ taps, I wonder how long some of the beer has been around.
You're right Scoats. I hate having to look over that many choices and then make up my mind. Sometimes when I go into Max's I'll take one look at the tap list and say to myself "dammit! There are just too many choices here, and I'm just not going to put up with it. Oh for the good old days when I only had to pick between bud, miller and coors (a choice that was made even easier by the fact all three tasted pretty much exactly the same). I'm out of here."
I do the same thing whenever I go to this beer bar in N. Philly called GreyLodge. Why does that place have to have so many amazing beers on tap all the time, and what's this fascination they seem to have with firkins? Dammit. Why can't they just have bud, miller and coors on CO2 like any other all American beer bar! Dagnabit!
I've been enjoying the Mikkeller Simcoe for over a week now!

Not sure about it's availability, but if you can find it, try the Mikkeller tomahawk IPA. If you like the Simcoe, you will probably like it as well. It's got some of the same qualities as the Simcoe, but is different enough that you can tell them apart.
That being said, the Simcoe is just delicious and is my favorite of the Mikkeller single hop IPA's so far. It's a hophead's dream...
To John M.--you don't know the half of it...I emailed people 3-4 years ago, inquiring about getting draft of it in Philly...back then it was a ratebeer.com cult hit...and someone in Europe who brewed with Mikkel and Kristian Keller told me that Mikkeller Simcoe will never be on draft in America!
Although now its just Mikkel who calls himself a gypsy brewer...this is from Mikkellers' website:
Already in Mikkellers first year as a brewery (2006), the two creators, Mikkel Borg Bjergs� and Kristian Klarup Keller, were named Danish brewery of the year and the fifth best brewery in the world.
Since then things have changed for the small brewery. Kristian Klarup Keller, who is also a journalist, got an attractive job offer as an editor for the well renouned music magazine Soundvenue. After heavy thoughts he decided to take the job, which also meant a farewell to Mikkeller. Since August 2007 Mikkel Borg Bjergs� has run Mikkeller on his own.
